Dr. Gabriel Leinwand has been published extensively in his primary areas of focus, which include prostate, bladder, and kidney cancers, as well as prosthetic urology and men’s urologic health. Dr. Leinwand graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Arts degree, and attended medical school at Albany Medical College, where he received both the Harold T. Farrington Urologic Award and the Trager Memorial Award for Excellence in Urology.
His publishing experience covers a wide array of topics, including SEER-based studies into bladder cancer, active surveillance of prostate cancer in African-American males, and objective measurement of urology’s academic impact on social media.
He completed his residency at Tulane University Medical Center, where he performed endoscopic, robotic, and open urologic procedures. While at Tulane, Dr. Leinwand led several resident-managed clinics while completing rotations in Andrology, Endourology, Reconstruction, Pediatric Urology, Oncology, and Robotics.
Dr. Leinwand is a member of the American Urologic Association and speaks fluent Hebrew.
