Dr. Sorce has practiced urology in Denver since 2008. He is the director of the Advanced Prostate Cancer Clinic and a member of the Colorado Urology Executive Council. Dr. Sorce specializes in robotic surgery for prostate and kidney cancer, minimally invasive surgeries and treatments for urologic conditions, kidney stones and incontinence including InterStim® Therapy.
Dr. Sorce strives for patient advocacy, doctor accessibility, and a personal touch for each patient relationship. His patient ratings have earned him several awards from Vitals.com: Patients’ Choice Physician Award (2009-2011, 2014,16,18); Compassionate Care Award (2010-2016,18); On-Time Doctor Award (2009, 2014-18); Top 10 Metro Doctor Award; and Top 10 State Doctor Award (2014). All are a testimony to his patient-focused approach.
After graduating Cum Laude from Amherst College with a BA degree in Biology, Dr. Sorce did biomedical consulting work in Boston and received his Master of Science degree in Molecular and Cellular biology, Summa Cum Laude, from Hunter College. He then attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, graduating Cum Laude, and was elected into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. After completing his general surgery training at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, Dr. Sorce finished his urology surgery residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
